Skiing in Angel Fire, New Mexico

Woohoo! My catch up series has finally broken into the current year!! As a recap, I missed a hear and a half of blog posts, so I've been playing a fast forward catch up... getting close to getting caught up... finally!

My friends from Joplin, Heather, Andrew and Chad decided it was time for a skiing trip and invited Andy and I to Angel Fire, NM. They brought along James, Virginia and her sister Stephanie, so we had a full cabin, a little skiing and a lot of laughing!

Before we get to the fun part though, this was a glimpse of what our drive looked like...

Then we finally made it into the mountains and things drastically improved. ;)

Since I wasn't thrilled about skiing, I hung out with Evie at the base of the mountain most of the time, but Andy did finally get me up on the slopes one day. I wasn't thrilled by this, but apparently I had drastically improved over my last few skiing experiences. Luckily though, they did have some nice easy slopes that were right about my speed. :)

Most of the craziness happened at night back at the cabin, but many of those pictures are neither appropriate... or flattering. But, here are a few of my crazy friends...
