I traveled to Joplin (alone :( ) for Thanksgiving in 2008, but had a great time seeing all the family and celebrating my dear friend Abby's 28th birthday!
A double birthday celebration
But mostly an Abby celebration, haha ;)
And look who we found... KP - the MHS gathering ground
Sisters
And on to turkey day - this year at Granny Jean's!
Andy and I made the short trip to Kansas City for Brandi's wedding. Brandi is one of our odd connections, since she graduated from high school with Andy and was a member of Sigma Kappa with me! It was great to get together with old friends and celebrate Brandi & Richard's marriage!
Like I said before... I'm way, way, way behind on this blog. It's sad. But, the good news is I'm going to make another go of it and see if I can get back on track. And, because I like things in order and it will drive me nuts if I just skip a year and a half of my life and travels, I'm going to spend a few weeks playing catch up. Yeah, so it's gonna be old news, but I'm ok with that because it gives me a great opportunity to look back at where I've been for the last couple years, flip through the photos, and relive it a little. And hey, it might be new to some of you!
So, stay tuned for a super abbreviated look back at my travels, etc. I'll be brief about the place and occasion and try to limit myself to less than 15 photos per post. Quick and easy, right? Right!
Sigh... I'm so, so far behind on my blog. It's sad (and a little embarrassing). I've thought about posting a million times but somehow haven't managed to find the time. The farther behind I get, the harder it seems to be to start up again. Sigh.
But, I'm posting now, to tell myself (and anyone who might still check this blog, and I don't imagine that there are many of you left) that I AM going to catch up and carry on!
So, coming soon, an abbreviated catch up of my travels from the past 19 months. Get ready!
